Happy Father's Day!

Whew!  What a busy, yet wonderful weekend it has been!  On Saturday I was fortunate enough to be able to celebrate my 30th birthday with my family and friends, and today we spent Father's Day with my parents and my grandparents.  This weekend couldn't have been any better in terms of weather, or the company that I was able to celebrate with! 

I hope that all the Dads out there had a wonderful Father's Day.  Here is a preview for Baby Isobel's Daddy...celebrating his very first Father's Day today.  I hope it was a memorable one!

Today I had the priviledge of meeting Baby Isobel and her mom Sarah.  At just 9 weeks-old, Miss Isobel already has a personality and knows what she wants (and what she doesn't want!).  Although she made us work for it, we got some great shots and at the end she finally caved and fell asleep for a bit.  Thank you again Sarah, to you and your family, for allowing me to capture your new baby girl, and for being so accomodating and working so hard throughout the session!  Just a few previews for now...

I had the priviledge of meeting, and photographing such a fun and beautiful family this morning at the Arboretum.  Sidney is a photographer herself, and I must admit, when I found this out, I became a bit nervous!  (Her work is great!  Check out her Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/defining.moments.photo#!/puremagicphotography?sk=info).

However, the nerves soon faded as this family was so laid-back and up for anything, so thank you Lumsden Family for putting me at ease and spending your Sunday morning with me!  I hope you enjoy your previews - just a few for now...

I could watch a newborn babe sleep for hours - there's something about them that just draws you in.  Really, I can't think of anything sweeter than a sleeping baby.  More of sweet baby Grayson...

At just 7 days old, Baby Grayson was an absolute delight to photograph!  He is just the sweetest baby, and oh-so-adorable!  Just a few previews for now, but there will be more to come from this session for sure!  Thank you L & D for inviting me to into your home to capture this special time for your family.  Congrats again!

My baby is ONE!

Today my baby girl turned ONE!  Although it is an exciting milestone, as her mommy, it's a bit sad to leave behind the baby stage.  Reagan has definitely developed her own personality, and has suddenly sprung quite a bit of independence!  We did a pre-birthday cake smash session yesterday, and she seemed to enjoy herself...and the cake!  Here are some of my favourites!

As I am continuing to edit some images from yesterday's newborn session, this one just caught my eye and put a smile on my face.  How sweet is she?!  Can't decide which one I prefer - colour or black & white?  Either way, Baby Addison is truly precious!

Meet Baby Addison - 7 days new!  This little girl sent me home with a bag of dirty laundry, but it was well worth it -- she is so adorable and squishy!  She was really trying to fight the sleep, but with the efforts of her mommy, we were able to get some sleepy shots, though she made it very clear that she was the most comfortable in her mommy's arms.  Here are a some previews for her parents.  Thanks so much Andrea & Cam for welcoming me (and my heap of equipment & props!) into your home.  Congrats again!
